8/18/2020 · Join us as we celebrate all the wonderful cultures that make Kansas City a wonderful and diverse place to call home. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Ethnic Enrichment Festival is going virtual! The Virtual Ethnic Festival Shows will start each night at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 21, Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23. Attendance is FREE!, Way back around 1980, a little annual event started up to celebrate the rich diversity found in Kansas City. We are sure that the organizers of this festival were hopeful that it would continue, but wonder if they could have imagined that it would achieve its current level of success. Here we are 39 years later, and the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Festival is still going strong.
